Victorian Oak and Silver Plate Single Bottle Tantalus
An unusual late Victorian oak and silver plated single bottle tantalus with the original cut crystal decanter c.1900. The oak frame with shaped sides and moulded plinth to the base, pull out drawer with working lock and key that when closed secures the decanter from being opened. Silver plated top bar with carry handle to the top and matching decorative silver plated bindings to the corners of the base. The original matching cut crystal decanter with hobnail design decoration and matching stopper in mint condition. Presented in excellent condition with a deep shine and immaculate silver fit...tings along with a perfect decanter. Measures 5.75" wide x 6.5" deep x 12.5" high. Stock number 39461.
