Victorian Oak 8" Dial Fusee Wall Clock
A quality Victorian solid oak cased single fusee dial clock with 8" dial by Lancashire Portadown, Northern Ireland c.1890. Moulded figured golden oak surround sat around the dial with matching back box, access doors to the side and base, pegs either side to remove the front of the clock. The original painted dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands along with the retailers name J. Lancashire, Portadown. Polished hinged bezel forming the door with original glazing. The 8 day single fusee movement with anchor escapement, fully serviced and working. A rare small sized fusee clock present...ed in excellent original condition, fully serviced and working. Measures 8" dial diameter x 11" diameter overall x 5.5" deep. Stock number 40920.
