A Victorian brass marine barometer by highly regarded scientific instrument maker, Negretti & Zambra* of London c.1880. Original dial with maker's name, numbered 11353. Early aneroid ...movement set behind the dial, in full working order. Bevelled edge glass to the front with centre reading marker. Solid brass casing with brass hanging loop to the top. No dents or damage to the case, presented with a deep shine. *Negretti & Zambra of London working 1851-1900, instrument makers to Queen Victoria, exhibited at the Great Exhibition in 1851 at Crystal Palace and won a prize medal. Measures 5" diameter x 6" high including wall mount x 2.25" deep. Stock number 39317.
