A late Victorian brass cased marine barometer with silvered dial by Hicks, London c.1900. Dished polished brass case with hanging loop to the top. Silvered dial with military mark, seri...al number and the makers name J Hicks, Hatton Garden, London, sat over a rapid indicating aneroid movement. Quarter plate bevelled edge glass view window with central reading marker, mounted in a polished brass bezel. Superior quality and presented in immaculate condition, fully serviced and working. Measures 4.75" diameter x 6" high including hanging loop x 2.75" deep. Stock number 41673.
