Victorian Leroy of Paris Carriage Clock
A fine quality small proportioned carriage clock in gorge case by Leroy Paris c.1885. The gorge case with original glided brass finish, swing carry handle to the top, bevelled glasses and oval view window to the top. Porcelain dial with Roman numerals and original blued steel hands. The 8 day movement with cylinder escapement, striking on the hour and half hour with repeater button to the top. Bears the makers name Leroy, Paris to the back plate. Presented in excellent original condition, full working order. Measures 4" high / 5.25" with handle up x 2.75" wide x 2.25" deep. Stock number 3709...3.
