Victorian Hall Lantern
A quality Victorian cast brass framed hall lantern with original coloured leaded glass, cleaned and rewired ready for use c.1890. The cast brass frame with cast leaf design decoration, complementing angled mounts to the corners and finials to the base. Arched tubular brass hanging frame with hook to the top. Original tinted leaded glass panels to the four sides in tones of greens, blues, yellows and reds; unusual frosted glass panel to the base with access hole to the centre (minor damage to one small piece of glass and a small crack to another, both not obvious when hung). Polish...ed and rewired ready for use with silk covered flex and brass lamp holder. Measures 9" wide x 9" deep x 12" to top of lantern and 24" in total. Stock number 40599.
