A high quality late Victorian gilt brass `gorge` cased 8 day carriage clock with gong striking and repeating. Porcelain dial with roman numerals, and retailers name `J& S whitehead`. Paris made movement with original escapement. Fully overhauled. C.1890. Measures. 4" wide. x 6" high. x 3.5" deep. 7.25" with handle up. SN 30660
