A Victorian golden figured oak cased aneroid barometer by highly regarded maker Negretti & Zambra c.1880. The deep turned solid golden oak case with figured timbers and ring turned edge. Aneroi...d movement sat behind a white porcelain dial bearing the makers name and early serial number. The dial sat behind a glazed view window mounted in a polished brass bezel and centre reading marker. Superb quality and original condition, fully serviced and working. Measures 9" diameter x 2.5" deep. Stock number 38876.
