A Victorian golden oak carved aneroid barometer c.1890. Porcelain dial with coloured letters to the weather predictions and a skeletonised movement visible to the centre. Polished brass bezel surround with thick bevelled edge glass and centre reading marker. Solid golden oak case with decorative leaf and floral carving. Superb colour and patina, fully serviced and in working order. Measures 10"wide x 2.5" deep x 15" high. Stock number 39816
