A fine quality Victorian rouge marble and ormolu trimmed mantle clock with Paris made 8 day movement c.1885. The rouge veined marble case with architectural pediment to the top and stepped base. De...corated throughout with ormolu trim and pilasters; matching carrying handle to the top. Engraved silvered dial with with gilt filigree work centre, Roman numerals and blued steel hands; sat behind a hinged glazed door. Presented in immaculate condition with perfect ormolu, fully overhauled and working. Measures 5.25" wide x 3.5" deep x 10" high. Stock number 39562.
