Victorian French 8 Day Carriage Clock
A superior quality Victorian 8 day brass cased carriage clock with porcelain dial and 8 day French movement in full working order c.1890. The polished brass case with turned pilasters to the corners, decorative swing handle and finials to the top. Decorative blind fretwork panel below the top and above the foot. Bevelled glass view window to the top and matching glass to the case. Porcelain dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands; 8 day French movement with platform escapement sat behind. Presented in excellent condition and in full working order. Measures 3.25" wide x 2.75..." deep x 5.25" high or 6.5" high with handle up. Stock number 41240.
