A Victorian brass cased four glass mantel clock with visible escapement to the dial and bell chiming, fully serviced and working c.1885. The brass case with original water gilt finish, moulded... edge to the top forming a cornice, hinged doors to the front and rear for accessing the movement; sat on a moulded edge base forming the foot. Quarter plate bevelled edge glass in perfect condition to all sides. Two piece porcelain dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands, visible ' Brocot' escapement to the top of the dial. 8 day movement with bell chiming on the hour and half hour.
