A quality Victorian figured walnut jewellery box with original fitted interior c.1880. Slightly domed top with polished brass shield to the centre, double doors to the front with brass lock escutch...eons. The hinged lid opening to reveal an original fitted interior with velvet and silk lining, matching lining to the interior of the lid with small vanity mirror set to the centre. Drawer below sat behind the glazed doors with original brass handles and silk lined interior. Presented in excellent original condition with a rich polished finish and clean interior, working lock and key. Measures 8.75" wide x 5.75" deep x 5" high. Stock number 40164.
