An unusual Victorian silver engraved swivel opening stamp fob, hallmarked Chester 1898. Fine quality scrole work engraved decoration to the exterior with the semi concealed interior opening by a small... release at the top, small hanging loop to the top. Opend to reveal an internal pocket with curved recess to aid the removal of stamps. Bears the makers mark for Cornelius Saunders & Frank Shepherd, specialist in this type of item. Presented in immaculate unused condition with a deep shine. Measures 1.5" high x 1 " wide x 0.24" deep. Stock number 36182.
