Victorian Desk Top Pocket Barometer
A Victorian pocket barometer in removable mahogany desk top stand c.1880. The polished brass cases pocket barometer with engine turned bezel and convex glass. Reading marker to the outer edge which can be used to compensate the height above sea level. Silvered scale set over the rapid indicating movement, fully overhauled and working. Sat in the original turned mahogany desk top stand with moulded edge. Presented in immaculate condition and fully working. Measures 3.25 diameter in the stand x 1" high x 2" diameter barometer dial.
