A superbly detailed late Victorian model of a short haired Dachshund by collected German maker WMF c.1890. The cast pewter model with original s...ilver plated finish excellent detail throughout depicting a short haired Dachshund in a standing position. Bears the makers mark to the underside of the front paw of collected and sort after German maker WMF along with EP - electroplate silver mark and serial number dating this model to circa 1890. Presented in excellent original condition with no damage or wear. Measures 5.25" long x 1.5" wide x 2.5" high. Stock number 39245.
