A Victorian solid oak country house box for holding bottles of spirits or decanters with superb painted decoration depicting a Georgian town house c.1880. Solid golden figured oak box with hinged lid ...and brass lock escutcheon to the front. Later painted to depict a Georgian town house with superb detail. The lid opening to reveal a clean original fitted and leathered interior with four divisions to hold bottles or decanters. Presented in excellent condition with a rich polish and no damage. Measures 7.75" wide x 7.75" deep x 9" high. Stock number 38699.
