Victorian Country House Oak Drop Side Butlers Tray and Stand
A Victorian solid oak country house drop side butler's tray and original stand c.1870. The oblong tray with framed and panelled base, rounded edge sides with inset carrying handle and snap action i...nset brass hinges, the sides folding downwards to form an oval surface. The original matching stand with sturdy turned legs and cross stretchers, two supporting bars at the top with webbing to hold in position when the tray is sat on top. Superb mellow colour and original patina, very sturdy and useable. Tray measures 30" wide x 20" deep or 38" wide x 30" deep with sides dropped x 29" high with tray sat on stand. Stock number 39593.
