An immaculate Victorian Coromandel jewellery box with decorative brass trimmed exterior with inset Limoges porcelain plaque and superb original fitted interior c.1885. The ...Coromandel box with brass decorative fretwork and a Limoges porcelain plaque depicting a scene of a sitting man and woman to the centre. The lid opening to reveal an original silk and blue velvet fitted interior; the removable top tray containing compartments, which include fittings for rings and bracelets/watches. The removable tray lifting out to reveal an additional silk lined lower compartment. The original interior in superb condition, working lock and key and all presented in excellent original condition with a rich polish. Measures 11" wide x 7.75" deep x 4" high. Stock number 40457.
