A superbly made Victorian coromandel glove box with bone stringing and satinwood lined interior by Lund, Cornhill, London c.1875. Figured coromandel veneered exterior with bright orange flash...es to the figuring and bone stringing to the edges; the hinged lid opening to reveal an original interior. The base of the interior lined with polished satinwood and the lid lined with blue silk; retaining strap to the centre to hold glove stretchers and button hooks. Presented in excellent original condition with a deep shine. Measures 11" wide x 4.5" deep x 2.75" high. Stock number 40915.
