A Victorian silver photo frame with embossed cherub decoration by highly regarded maker William Comyns, hallmarked Chester 1900. The solid silver front with embossed and fretted decoration, cherubs... set to each corner along with classic scroll decoration. Circular photograph window to the centre. Sat on the original green velvet back with sturdy easel stand. Bears the makers mark for highly regarded silversmiths William Comyns along with clear hallmarks. Presented in excellent condition with a deep shine. Takes photograph 4" x 4". Measures overall 6" wide x 6" high. Stock number 41050.
