Victorian Cast Brass Door Stop by Tonks
A fine quality Victorian cast brass weighted door stop by highly collected maker William Tonks Ltd c.1880. Cast brass foot with ornate decoration and tapering stem above, beaded decoration to the centre, carrying handle to the top with acanthus leaf decoration to the mount. Cast iron infill weight set behind. Bears the maker mark for highly regarded and collected Birmingham brass foundry William Tonks Ltd to the rear, superb quality and condition. Measures 13.5" high x 6" wide x 2.5" deep. Stock number 40138.
