Victorian Cast Brass Book Lectern
A top quality Victorian cast brass book lectern with fretwork decoration and rise and fall column c.1875. The circular weighted cast brass base with turned oak plinth forming the foot, rise and fall column above. Angled book rest sat to the top with ledge to the front edge to hold the book in place, decorative engraving and fretwork decoration to the backplate. The rest rising and falling by 6" with a securing knob set to the side of the column. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine, very heavy.
