A mid Victorian cast brass and iron scroll design door stop c.1875. Cast iron pad below the decorative polished brass scroll design base with heavy cast iron infill behind to give stabili...ty. Brass stem above fashioned in the style of bamboo with carrying loop to the top on a shell design mount. Excellent quality and condition with a rich polish to the brass. Measures 5.5" wide x 2.5" deep x 15" high. Stock number 41768.
