Victorian Carved Walnut Frame Open Armchair
A mid Victorian carved solid walnut open armchair covered in quality cream damask fabric c.1885. The substantial solid walnut show frame with floral decoration to the top of the framed back rest, the adjoining arms with moulded front supports. Show frame to the base of the seat and cabriole legs to the corners sat on the original brass castors. Deep buttoned upholstery to the back rest, pads to the arms and deep sprung seat; covered in a quality cream damask fabric. Presented in excellent condition, very sturdy, comfortable and useable. Measures 25" maximum width x 24" deep x 40" high... to top of chair back x 17" seat height. Stock number CS241.
