Victorian Carved Walnut Cased Aneroid Barometer
A superior quality Victorian turned and carved walnut cased aneroid barometer in mint condition, fully serviced and working c.1885. Aneroid movement sat behind a white porcelain dial with weather predictions in ornate script and a central decoration. The dial sat behind a glazed view window mounted in a polished brass bezel with centre reading marker. Superb quality and original condition, fully serviced and working. Measures 9.5" diameter x 11" high including hanging loop x 2.5" deep. Stock number 40676.
