Victorian Carved Walnut Banjo Barometer
An immaculate Victorian carved walnut cased banjo barometer with porcelain dial in full working order c.1890. The slim carved solid walnut case with crest to the top, turned mount to the dial and smaller crest at the base to match the top. Porcelain dial with weather predictions sat around the outer edge and the makers name Blackham, Wolverhampton & Dudley, aneroid movement behind. Polished brass bezel with glazed view window and centre reading marker sat over the top. Matching scale to the thermometer with original mercury action thermometer. Presented in immaculate condition with a de...ep shine to the case, fully serviced and working. Measures 34" long x 10" maximum width 3" maximum depth. Stock number 41730.
