Victorian Carved Oak Ships Barometer
A Victorian carved oak rope twist design border ships barometer with porcelain dial c.1890. The turned figured golden oak casework with rope twist design border. Porcelain dial with weather predictions sat over the aneroid movement. Cast brass bezel with inset glass and central reading marker to record the last reading. Presented in superb original condition with a rich colour and original patina, fully serviced and working. Measures 11" diameter overall with an 8" dial diameter x 2.75" deep. Stock number 41083.
