A top quality Victorian carved oak rope edge barometer by sought after maker Dixey. C.1900. Well carved oak rope twist effect surround to the porcelain faced aneroid movement. Sat behind bevelled edge glass set in a cast brass bezel. Bears the makers name, Dixey, Brighton & Hove. Fully overhauled movement. Measures 9" diameter x 2.5" deep. SN 33077.
