Victorian Campaign Barometer and Case
A Victorian polished brass cased campaign barometer in the original presentation case c.1890. The dished polished brass case with hanging loop to the top, engraved silvered scale with weather predictions sat around the outer edge; skeletonised android movement visible to the centre. Dial and movement sat behind a glazed view window with central reading marker. Barometer is in the original leather cloth covered presentation case with silk and velvet lined interior. Presented in immaculate condition, fully serviced and working. Barometer measures 2.75" diameter x 1.75" deep x 3..." high including hanging loop. Stock number 41113.
