Victorian Burr Walnut Work and Gaming Table
A quality Victorian burr walnut fold over top work and gaming table C.1875. Decorative carved twin pedestal base joined by a turned strecher, silk covered wool basket with single drawer above. Shaped top with burr veneers to match the base, opens to reveal a chess board and backgammon board, which fo.ds over and revolves on the base to make a gaming table. Superb colour and original patina, sat on the original castors. Measures 28.5" wide x 16.5" deep. x 28" high.
