Victorian Burr Walnut Wellington Chest
A mid Victorian burr walnut Wellington chest in superb original c.1875. Figured walnut veneered top with stepped moulding underneath and carved corbels to each side. Seven graduated drawers to the front with burr veneers and original turned knobs, plain pilasters set either side, one forming a locking bar to secure the drawers closed. Moulded apron to the base forming the foot. Presented in excellent condition with a rich polish, working lock and key. Measures 21" wide x 14.5" deep x 42.5" high. Stock number 40064.
