Victorian Burr Walnut Tallboy Chest
A quality late Victorian burr walnut six drawer tallboy chest in superb original condition c.1890. Crossbanded burr walnut top with moulded edge sat over six graduated drawers all with solid ash lined interiors; the drawer fronts with burr veneers crossbanding and cock beaded edges. Molded plinth to the base with bracket feet below and figured walnut sides. Original shaped back plate brass fittings and complementing lock escutcheons. Presented in excellent condition with a rich unfaded colour and deep polish. Measures 19" wide x 17" deep x 41" high. Stock number 41640.
