Victorian Burr Walnut Tallboy Chest
A quality Victorian burr walnut tallboy chest with crossbanded edges in superb condition c.1880. Quarter veneered burr walnut top with crossbanded and moulded edge. Two small top drawers with three deep graduated drawers below; each with book matched veneers and crossbanded edges to match the top. Moulded plinth to the base with bracket feet below, figured walnut veneers to the sides and decorative brass fittings with complementing lock escutcheons. Excellent quality and condition with a rich colour and polish. Measures 21" wide x 16.5" deep x 39.5" high. Stock number 42037.
