Victorian Burr Walnut Stick Barometer
A superior quality Victorian burr walnut stick barometer by Callaghan & Co. London C.1885. The slim burr walnut case with cushion moulded top and decorative dental moulding below the scale. Enamel scales with twin vernier markers sat behind a bevelled edge glass. Matching scale to the original mercury action thermometer set to the centre of the case. Moulded edge cistern cover with clipped corners to the base. Superb quality with original colour and patina to the case. Bears the makers name Callaghan & Co, 23 New Bond St London to the scale. Full working order. Measures 38" long x 4" max wi...dth x 2.5" max depth. Stock number 36364.
