A fine quality mid Victorian burr walnut secretaire side cabinet with fruitwood inlays c.1875. Book matched veneers to the top strung with fruitwood. Double doors below with secretaire drawer and sing... door to the base with decorative brass grill. The double doors opening to reveal a fitted interior with pigeon holes and two drawers, pull out secretaire with leather writing surface and pen and ink section set to the side., the surface lifts to form a book easel. The single door cupboard base with shelf to the interior. Burr veneers and fruitwood stringing to match the top. Excellent condition with a rich unfaded colour and polish. Measures 23.5" wide x 15.5" deep x 39" high. Stock number 37036.
