A Victorian burr walnut pedestal desk with original brassware and polished back to allow free standing c.1880. Tooled black leather writing surface with walnut band and moulded edge. Three drawers ...immediately below writing surface, each with burr veneers and original gilded circular handles with ring pulls. Three graduated drawers to each pedestal with burr veneers and handle to match above. Figured timber sides and panelled back for free standing; apron foot with concealed castors below. Presented in excellent condition with a rich colour and deep polish. Measures 42" wide x 25.5" deep x 29.5" high. Kneehole measures 17" wide x 24" high. Stock number 41257.
