Victorian Burr Walnut Inlaid Mantel Clock
A late Victorian burr walnut inlaid 8 Day mantel clock retailed by Bristol Goldsmiths c.1890. Porcelain convex dial with brass bezel surround and convex glass front. Book matched burr walnut veneers to the curved top case with finely turned pillars to the sides. Fine fruitwood inlay to the front of the case with burr walnut sides and figured walnut to the back, standing on turned walnut feet. French platform escapement movement in full working order, with superb colour and patina to the case. Presented in good condition. Measures 6.75" wide x 3.5" deep x 9" high. Stock numbe...r 38903.
