A fine quality mid Victorian burr walnut fold over card table with serpentine front and carved tripod base c.1875. The serpentine top with book matched figured veneers and moulded edge. Fold over and ...revolves on the pedestal to open as a card table with inset green baized centre and walnut veneered outer boarder. Storage compartment under the surface along with London makers label. Matching burr veneered apron below the surface. Sat on a carved and turned pedestal with matching carving to the tripod foot, sat on the original brass and porcelain castors. Superb colour and rich polish. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 36" maximum width x 18" maximum depth x 29" high. Stock number 37725.
