Victorian Burr Walnut Circular Table
A mid Victorian burr walnut quarter veneered top circular breakfast table sat on a carved tripod base C.1875. Moulded edge to the solid walnut top veneered with choice quarter book matched burr veneers, apron with matching veneers below. Snap top with brass release handle underneath. Sat on tuned column with acanthus leaf mounts above the tripod foot. Moulded top to the swept leg with stylized shell foot, concealed brass castors underneath. Superb condition with a deep shine, very sturdy. Seats 4 to 6 people. Measures 48" diameter x 28.5" high. Stock number 34325.
