Victorian Bronze 'Cupid' By Auguste Moreau
A fine quality Victorian bronze winged cherub 'Cupid' by Auguste Moreau 1834 - 1917. Superbly formed, the cherub stood on a stony ground with large shell behind. Well detailed wings to the back and arrow poised in one hand and spares in the other depicting Cupid. Signed Auguste Moreau to the base. Excellent original colour and patination. Presented in excellent original condition. Measures 20" high x 7" wide x 7.5" deep at the base. Stock number 37628.
