Victorian Brass Ships Bulkhead Barometer
A Victorian brass cased ships bulk head marine barometer with porcelain dial by Gamage of London c.1885. The deep polished brass case mounted on a turned English oak plinth with securing fitting to the top and base. Rapid indicating aneroid movement sat behind a white porcelain dial with quarter plate glass set in a cast brass bezel and centre reading marker. Bears the makers name 'Gamage London'. Fully serviced and working, presented in excellent condition with a deep shine. Measures 10.5" diameter x 3.5" deep. Stock number 39048.
