A Victorian cast brass fruit basket door stop c.1880. The heavy base in the form of a wicker basket with fruit sat in the top. Long handle with carrying loop to the top fashioned to resemble a vine... trailing up a tree; up-stand to the back. Excellent quality and condition with deep polish. Measures 6" wide at the base x 2.5" deep x 14" high. Stock number 40625.
