Victorian Brass Coal Scuttle and Shovel
A top quality Victorian solid brass coal scuttle with embossed decoration, cast fittings and original shovel c.1880. Heavy gauge solid brass with gadrooned design embossed decoration to the front a...nd rolled rim to the top; circular foot with rolled rim to the base. Decorative cast fittings to the swing handle and matching handle to the rear, which also holds the original matching coal shovel. Presented in excellent dent and damage free condition with a deep polish ready for use. Scuttle measures 19" wide including rear handle x 10" deep x 14" high or 20" high with handle up. Shovel measures 5" wide x 13" high including handle. Stock number 41700.
