A quality Victorian brass cased marine barometer with enamel dial, fully serviced and working c.1885. The polished brass case with flared outer edge and decorative hanging loop to the top. Aneroid ...movement sat behind an enamel dial bearing the name Braham Bath, and central reading marker with glazed view window sat over the top. John Braham worked between 1830 and 1856, with a registered address in Bath from 1833. Presented in excellent condition with a deep shine and in full working order. Measures 5" diameter x 6" high including hanging loop x 2" deep. Stock number 40011.
