Victorian Brass and Steel Cased Rapid Indicating Marine Barometer
A quality Victorian burnished steel and brass cased rapid indicating marine barometer by Morrison of Liverpool c.1880. Burnished steel back box with original patinated finish, cast brass glazed bezel with central reading marker to the front. Porcelain dial with weather predictions sat around the outer edge and the makers name Morrison, Liverpool; rapid indicating aneroid movement for more accurate readings sat behind. Presented in superb original condition, the movement fully overhauled and working. Measures 8" diameter x 2.75" deep. Stock number 41727.
