A fine quality Victorian mahogany cased small proportioned bracket clock with ormolu trim and double fusee movement c.1890. The quality mahogany case with arched top, canted corners and moulded plinth to the base. Ormolu mounts to the corners, finials to the top and bracket feet to the base. Gilt and silvered dial with engraved silvered chapter ring and gilt spandrels to the corners and arch of the dial. Bears the makers name Goldsmiths & Silversmiths, Regent St, London. Double fusee movement with original chain drive and anchor escapement, strikes on the hour and half h...our on a gong. Presented in superb original condition with a deep shine to the casework and excellent ormolu, fully serviced and working. Measures 8.5" wide x 6.5" deep x 14" high. Stock number 39559.
