Victorian Book Slide Satin Ash and Brass Bound
A mid Victorian book slide, satin ash with brass trim extending rack, C.1875. Figured timbers throughout with hinged lifting book end, each trimmed with fretted and engraved polished brass mounts in the manner of Pugin. Each side pulling out to double the capacity if required. Excellent condition with a deep shine and good colour. Measures 13.5" long x 5.5" wide x 1.75" high. Extends to 20" long x 6.5" high when fully extended. Stock number 34202.
