Victorian 8 Day Miniature Carriage Clock
An immaculate Victorian oval cased miniature carriage clock with 8 day French movement c.1890. The polished brass case in oval form with shaped folding carrying handle to the top and small bun feet to the base. Bowed bevelled edge glasses to all sides and oval view window to the top. Porcelain dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands, 8 day Paris made movement with platform escapement sat behind; accessible from the rear for winding and adjustment of time. Superb quality and condition, fully overhauled and working. Measures 2.5" wide x 1.75" deep x 4.25" high with handle up ...x 3.25" with handle down. Stock number 40779.
