Victorian 8 Day Fusee Dial Clock by Benson
A superior quality Victorian solid mahogany cased English dial clock by Benson, fully serviced and working c.1885. Moulded edge mahogany surround to the dial with matching back box, access door to the base and side. Original painted dial with Roman numerals along with the makers name, 'J W Benson, London' and blued steel hands. The dial set behind a glazed viewing window, which is mounted in a hinged opening polished brass bezel. The 8 day movement with anchor escapement, fully serviced and working. Presented in excellent condition with a deep shine to the cas...e. Measures 14.5" diameter x 12" dial x 5.75" deep. Stock number 42169.
